Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2, 2026

1. Who we are

This policy explains how Dunn Investing LLC, a Florida limited liability company, doing business as Callata ("Callata", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use the Service or visit callatta.com.

2. What we collect

Account data (name, email, business name and address, billing details handled by Stripe); communications data you create or receive through the Service (call records, phone numbers, message content, voicemails, recordings, transcripts and AI summaries); contacts you store; emergency (911) address; device and usage data (IP address, browser, app events); and, for business texting registration, business identity details such as your EIN.

3. How we use it

To provide and secure the Service (routing calls and messages, storing recordings, generating transcripts and summaries you enable), to bill you, to register your numbers for 911 and business texting with carriers, to provide support, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with law. We don't sell personal information and we don't use your communications content to train AI models.

4. Service providers

We share data only as needed with providers that help run the Service: telecommunications carriers (for calls, texts, numbers and 911), Stripe (payments), our hosting and database providers, and speech-recognition and AI providers used for transcription, summaries and AI agents. They process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

5. Legal disclosures

We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena or court order, to respond to emergencies, or to protect the rights and safety of people and the Service.

6. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Call records, messages, recordings and voicemails are kept until you delete them or your account is deleted; deleted account data is removed from active systems promptly and from backups within 30 days, unless law requires longer retention.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit; recordings are stored privately and shared only through short-lived signed links; each business's data is isolated from other customers; provider credentials you connect are encrypted at rest.

8. Your choices and rights

Account owners can export or delete their business data from the app or by emailing support@callatta.com. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal information and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. Contact us to make a request; we'll verify it and respond within the time the law requires.

9. Callers and message recipients

If you called or texted a business that uses Callata, that business controls your information. Contact the business directly; we'll help them respond. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of further texts from that number.

10. Children

The Service isn't directed to children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.

11. Changes and contact

We'll post updates here and notify account owners of material changes. Questions: support@callatta.com · Dunn Investing LLC, 2083 SW 72nd Ave, Davie, FL 33317.
